Blue & Gold Banquet time again, which means time for cakes! I was worried that with 2 boys in cubs they would both want to do a cake…eek! Thankfully, they came up with the idea of working on a cake together, which was much easier on Dad (Mom). Just kidding, Mom only had to buy the candy…whew!! The boys (men) made up the cake and designed it on their own.
Not that it took much:
A basketball court for Uncle Ian and Richard. (Their words, not mine) I was impressed they came up with the idea without even knowing what type of candy Mom had already bought…I love it when things work out smoothly!
Their cake won the “Sugar Rush” award. Probably the most accurate award that could have been given. It was a little hard to get through that cake!
I was impressed ... very creative and YES! someone was looking out for you to have worked out with the candy that you bought. AWESOME!
