- Heroes of Olympus by Rick Riordan. (keep forgetting how entertaining he is)
- Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter (guilty pleasure. way easy read)
- Wonder – Palacio, RJ (I have read this MANY times!)
- Any Kate Morton book (usually intertwined storylines of someone in the present searching out secrets of the past)

Surprises of 2014
1. Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson – Put this off forever. Looked like what I call “high fantasy”, and I just didn’t want to get involved in a long drawn out fantasy series. COULD NOT STOP LISTENING to the first book. Can’t wait for the next 2 to become available on audio.
2. Stone’s Fall by Iain Pears – Another audio that was a fun whodunit with espionage and international business corruption moving back through a 60 year timespan and then the end hit, and I went WHAT THE???? I spent forever trying to explain it to Dan just so I could release some of the shock. I will probably give it a go again just to put the pieces together better.
3. Ready Player One – Another audio. Did not have a clue what this was about. Just downloaded it and went at it. Great geek-out book set in the future with tons of video games, music and movies of the 80’s and 90’s being what “saves” the world. Oh, and Will Wheton narrating made it even better.
