Water Party

The day after we flew home, we had the Cub Scout Water Party.  Luckily we have a cool group of leaders (sniff, sniff Cayce) and we brought all of the little kids along with the Cubs.  It was a blast.  One of our leaders has a “big” pool that entertained the Cubs and older kids while another leader brought a small wading pool and threw plastic fish that could be fished out with child fishing poles.  The whole thing was a hit!

I didn’t get a chance to change Garrick into his swimming suit.  He got to the water way too fast.  Then he was just too cute to interrupt.

Haden was a little funnier about the fishing.

He wasn’t too impressed with the fishing pole.

Connor loved the bubble wands.

I can’t believe how big he is getting.  He likes to countdown to when he is going to be a cub scout.  He tells me all the major events that are going to happen until he turns 8.  Knowing my luck, I will still be in Cubs. 

Thanks to the leaders for a great party.  My kids had a blast, and I’m pretty sure the cubs did too, since we couldn’t get them out of the pool.  Looking forward to real fishing next month!
