Our last day we took off to see Niagara Falls. We started on the American side of the falls. First activity was doing the Cave Of Winds which is a platform that allows people to stand under the falls (some of the softer ones)
View from the bottom of the falls.
The American Falls. 1 million bathtubs being emptied every second.
Then we did the Maid of Mist boat ride. We didn’t pull the camera out much because there was so much water.
After the ride, there is a cool overlook where you can look at both falls at the same time.
To help dry off we drove over to the Canadian side of the falls. MUCH BETTER. Next time we will skip the American side and just do Canada. It was beautiful.
After paying $20 for parking (did I mention the whole thing was a massive tourist trap? Way expensive pictures) we wandered along the boardwalk and got a great view of both the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls.
The best part was when we were wandering through the souvenir shop and remembered I was in Canada….COFFEE CRISP!! I was literally running around the store trying to find their stash. Totally made the trip worthwhile!
I almost wanted to see if we could find a Costco so I could really load up, but we decided we wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner and relax before packing up to go home. Can you believe it is over already? What to look forward to now?
