Wouldn’t you know it worked! Dan got my pictures off the memory card. So here we go.
For Fall Break we took a quick trip up to Park City. I told my Mom what we were planning, so she went and reserved a room at the same hotel for them. Then the rest of my siblings found out we were doing a trip and so it ended up being a small family reunion. What fun!
We met up Thursday night and took a dip in the pool before going to dinner. The boys were excited to show off their swimming skills to the aunts and uncles.
Friday was a total blast. While all of the girls were busy shopping at the Outlet Stores, Grandpa and Dan took all the boys to Ogden’s Union Station to go through their museums. The boys were in heaven with the trains, old fashioned cars, and the huge guns.
On the way home they decided to take a stop at Hill Airforce Base. My Dad loves their museum and was excited to show the boys all of the planes. The kids loved pretending to fly the space shuttle.
It was great to have the men spend the morning together. Yes, it is possible for my family to get through 4 museums in an hour and a half. Those that know my dad totally understand, and my 2 boys definitely take after him! I loved being able to spend the morning shopping with my mom and sisters. There were great sales at the Outlets, and I loved being able to try on as many pairs of jeans that I wanted. Yes, I finally went shopping for myself and it was heaven! Thanks to my sisters for putting up with my indecision problem.
That looks like a lot of fun. The outlets seemed picked over when I went. No cute dollar shirts for me. So sad. The jeans you were wearing on Sunday were cute. So you did a good job. (If those happen to be your new ones.)
