So I have to start with: My sister is amazing. Okay, all my sisters are amazing, but Heather shone out this weekend. (Don’t worry Tiff. I will give you your dues when something gets delivered around Christmas…hint, hint jk) Here is the back story:
For those who don’t know, Heather lived with us last fall and spring. It was a blast having her in our home. She truly loves my boys and was a great help while I was pregnant with Garrick. She decided that to help fill some empty time she would sew quilts for my boys “new” bunk beds. So back in February she started picking fabric and piecing the quilts together. This past weekend we finally finished tying the both of the them. My boys were so excited. They have been talking about this moment for months!
Ta da – The finished product! (and a few more pictures since I was having fun playing with Mom’s new camera. I am so jealous Mom!) We LOVE them!
Heather picked out colors that struck her as “Superman” since Connor loves all things Superman.
The boys love “zerberts”. I have no idea who came up with that word – Krystal??!!
Haden wanted something green. So after much deliberation this is what Heather came up with:
