Fall Fun

We have been enjoying the change in weather.  I love the light jacket weather and the boys have been great about going out in the afternoon to enjoy the warmth. (Snow bad :( not looking forward to this week.)

Anyway, Haden’s preschool took their fieldtrip to the Pumpkin Patch and Haden was ecstatic to finally get to go “by himself”.  Translated, means that Mom and Connor were not there.

This is Haden’s preschool group, plus a few extra.  There are 8 kids in our preschool group.  Haden is right in the middle when it comes to age.  I love that he is getting to know some of the kids that will be in his school class.  A cute group of kids.

Connor was so excited to see the leaves blow off the trees this past week.  He has been bugging me all week to be able to “rake the leeffes”.  So he and Haden got to work on my back yard.  I caught them trying to dig holes in my grass, so I put them to more constructive work on the flowerbeds that are overflowing with grass.

They were sure proud of their little pile of leaves.  Unfortunately we didn’t get it into the garbage can, so it has now blown all over the yard again.  Oh well, one more time can’t hurt.  (BTW – yes I realize they are wearing shorts and sandals in this weather.  We were on the way to swim lessons, and they insisted on getting a picture of their pile.  Who am I to complain about my kids actually wanting to get photographed?!)
