My biggest problem with vacations is the going out to eat. Don’t get me wrong, I like going out to eat, I just get sick of it when it is every meal. That and I hate making decisions of where to eat. Dan was awesome at picking places!
The one I was most excited about was Steak ‘n Shake. I was introduced by my best friend during our Senior trip and since there really aren’t any west of the Mississippi River it has been about 12 years since I had been to one. So we made sure to go a couple of times. So worth the wait!
Favorites: Cheese fries and Orange Freeze. Great prices and awesome food. Oh, and after 14 years of marriage learned that Dan doesn’t like nacho cheese. I knew that he doesn’t like cheese, but loves melted cheese. Just no melted American Cheese (nacho cheese). Blew me away!
Our last visit the night before we left.
Dan chose to go to The Cheesecake Factory for his birthday dinner. We were seated on the patio on a gorgeous night.
Dan’s Macho Burrito. That thing was HUGE. Great leftovers for lunch the next day.
We split a piece of cheesecake for his birthday cake. WOW!
Dan dragged me to a Japanese restaurant for Saturday night. He was bummed about missing his Priesthood Dinner with his Dad and brothers, so he wanted to still do it in Orlando. He also got Alicia to try sushi. Not thrilled about it, but it was worth the try.
Thanks Dan for getting me to try new things! It was a fabulous trip of food!
