Orlando Trip - Part 1

The beginning of April Dan and Alicia flew to Orlando to celebrate Dan’s 37th birthday.  So excited to have a week without the boys!

Time for the selfies.  We don’t do them very often, so this should be interesting.

We spent 3 days at Universal Orlando.  So much fun!  I’m a Disney fan, but absolutely loved Universal.  At least loved it without kids!  The rollercoasters were amazing.  There were so many that we loved.

Our whole reason for picking Universal Studios.  We loved Harry Potter world.  The rides and environment were amazing!  Dan got his butterbeer (both regular and frozen).  We brought the boys all the fun candy from Zonko’s Candy Shop.  Connor is obsessed with Harry Potter right now, so we kept on talking about how much he would have loved everything.

All of our boys love Scooby Doo.  They loved seeing Dan with the Mystery Machine.

After our 3 days at Universal we swung over to Epcot for a day.

Having been to Disneyland last year, Epcot seemed like the best park for us to visit.  I remember loving Epcot when I went as a teenager.  It was definitely different as an adult.  Still loved the International Plaza.  I love visiting the different countries and seeing their shows.  Not impressed with the rides.  We loved Test Track and Mission to Mars, but the rest were NOT worth the waits.  And let’s just say that I was not impressed with FastPass+.  Hoping it doesn’t go to Disneyland.

Super busy days with lots of walking and waiting.  It gave us ideas for what we would like to do for a family vacation.  With it being the “off-season” the parks closed a lot earlier than we expected, so that left our evening completely free.  Which meant lots of catching up on movies!
