It was a crazy weekend with birthdays and 4th celebrations, and of course once I got a chance to relax I got sick with a nasty cold. For the past 3 days I have felt like I was hit by a Mack Truck. No fun. Oh well, I guess I was able to keep Garrick company in the congestion department. So here is the low-down on the past weekend.
First was Alicia’s B-day on Thursday. Okay, officially on Thursday, but not really “celebrated” until Friday and Saturday. The boys gave me a fun game to take camping and Dan gave me some flowers, but Friday was the big day for us. Heather’s gift was taking the boys all day and over-night. So Dan and I had a blast spending the day together.
First up: Transformer Movie. Second step: PF Chang’s for dinner. Third step: Alicia spending some birthday money. Fourth (and most important): Sleeping in Saturday morning. GLORIOUS!! I loved just spending time with Daniel. A very low key B-day, but nice since I really got to spread it out.
