Most of September is a blur. I was teaching an Excel class and had to learn new curriculum, so my brain was mush by the end of the month. Didn’t take many pictures, so there are only a few to jog my memories.
Our peach trees ripened a lot quicker than we anticipated this year, so we had to quickly get the peaches off. They were fabulous this year, we got jam, pies and 30+ jars of peaches. By the end Alicia was ready to be done.
Z was “helpful” of course. But how can you not love that face?
The last weekend of September I ran the Women of Steel Relay in Midway. 2nd time running it and could the weather be more opposite? It was raining buckets all day long. Still a blast though. I rocked my times. I ran basically the same legs as last year and beat my time on every one. Everyone did awesome. We averaged a 9.51 mpm and our team came in 11th.
| Leg 1 | Hard | 3.11 | 9.13 mpm |
| Leg 2 | Easy | 2.85 | 9.18 mpm |
| Leg 3 | Moderate | 2.98 | 8.32 mpm |
| 8.86 mi | 9.01 mpm |
Looking forward to next year and already praying for better weather!
