Christmas Parties Part I

Wahoo!!  I’m finally getting to Christmas.  Just a few notes on what we did, ‘cause it was fun.

The Preece Family did a party a few days before the craziness of Christmas.  We ended up hosting it at our house, which was kind of nice.  After a dinner, and visiting the kids sat down for a game of Christmas Bingo.

They had a blast getting the spaces called by Papa, and getting the prizes from Grandma.  It was interesting to see how picky they were about their prizes.  It was some hard decisions to figure out what to pull from the box.

The adults took the chance to do some minute-to-win-it games.  Dan and I totally kicked butt in the marshmallow throwing contest.  Alicia definitely still has some of the family basketball skills….nah, Dan is just more coordinated in catching things.—No pictures…we were too busy laughing!

After the games we set up the hot chocolate bar.

It was a great idea!!  There were tons of toppings (which I went a little crazy on picking out) and yummy mini pumpkin pies from Grandma Burrell.

The kids absolutely loved it.  They loaded those cups up!  The nice thing was having all the leftovers to use during the bitterly cold winter we had.  It brought back the memory of Christmas every time.

Oh, and a picture of baby and Dad.  Since there are not many of those.

What a great start to celebrating Christmas!
