I’m back. September is finally over, so I feel like my brain is returning…slowly. Trying to remember what I have done so far and I realized I need to do the rest of our trip to Anaheim. So I’m going a little out of order on days. On Tuesday and Wednesday we did Disneyland and California Adventure. Boy were those busy days…and of course very few pictures.
We spent Tuesday at Disneyland with the whole family. The kids had a blast going on the rides with their cousins. We literally hit every major ride by noon and then spent the rest of the day on our own doing whatever the kids wanted. CRAZY day!! It was a little bit of an overload for Alicia and Z, but we survived.
Warning, the pictures are crap because they were on the phone, but hey some documentation it happened.
I have no idea what was up with this picture. I think I was gone getting a fast pass. Happiest place on earth…except when it is super hot, super busy, and heaven forbid you have to WAIT to get on the merry-go-round.
Connor is definitely my most impatient child. Although, he really did well this time around. Notice the hat in the 2nd picture, because it was soon to disappear.
Z, and I caught up with them in time to get on the ride. He did really well. Didn’t sleep much, but loved the rides. Thankfully he wasn’t walking…oh wait, he did take his first steps at California Adventure the next day.
G was finally big enough to go on almost every rollercoaster. He did awesome! And finally a picture of mom. Yep, I was there. Oh, and notice the no hat on Connor. This was about where he lost it. If you can’t tell, Alicia is still a little miffed that it is gone. It was a nice hat!
Wednesday we headed over to California Adventure. Kat and Jared’s family went as well, but we only briefly saw them in the first 30 minutes. Let me just say between the fast passes, and stroller passes we were running around that park. My kids had nothing to complain about. We got on every big ride they wanted to do, as many times as they could possibly want. The Grizzly Rapids were a favorite, and we all got thoroughly soaked!
Taking rides on the carousel next to the Roarin’ CA rollercoaster. We went on that rollercoaster so many times Alicia got a migraine and had to go buy some medicine. (and I thought pills at the hospital were expensive!!)
We happened to stop at the waterfront to rest and Goofy came out to conduct the water show. Garrick just happened to be sitting this close to where he was. G was so excited because Goofy is one of his favorite characters.
Cars Land had to be the family’s favorite. We could have spent the entire day just wandering around looking at things. We stopped off for ice cream at the cozy cone hotel, and the picnic table we grabbed was literally 10 feet away from where Mater and Lightning McQueen were set up to visit with the kids. My boys were just fascinated watching. They didn’t want to get in line for pictures, so we just sat back and enjoyed.
A great couple of days at Disney. We felt like pros working the fast pass/stroller pass system. It definitely saved our bacon. It will almost be sad when we no longer have a stroller baby to get those extra passes. However, the boys will love getting more independent and going on the things that they enjoy. AWESOME!
