I’ve heard some rumblings that some Grandma’s are getting a little annoyed at the lack of posting. SORRY!! I wish I had a good excuse, but no. I have just hit a wall the last couple of months about blogging. You forget to do it for a couple of weeks, and then all of a sudden you look back and 2 months have passed. Then the daunting task of how much catch-up to actually do.
So until I figure out how much time and effort I want to put into this I will just do a brief…SCHOOL’S OUT ON FRIDAY!!! I’m probably more excited than my boys. It has been a rough 5 months and I’m more than ready to take a break and have a fresh start next school year. (and for those family members that like to mock me…yes I had the boys summer chores/school schedule completed 2 weeks ago and feel ready to face the summer!)
Today we started the celebration of summer by taking Connor out of school early (after the dance festival…..which Alicia skipped since she is already jaded about the utter waste of time the last week of school is…Thanks for stepping up Dan!) and went to 7 Peaks Waterpark with our Pass of All Passes. Connor’s word’s when we got in the car to go home: “This was the greatest day of my life!!” The wave pool and lazy river were a hit. I don’t know how I’m going to keep up with the 3 boys this summer!
