On Wednesday, we finally did a friend party for Haden. I almost skipped it this year, but after having a party for Connor, Haden was just counting down the days until he could have one. So I caved in, and totally went the easy route. We invited a handful of friends to come for lunch at McDonalds and then did cupcakes. It was great! The play area at McDonald’s was enough to keep them entertained, and it was very low stress for Alicia.
The kids were running around so much that most of our pictures were of the back of their heads. Oh well, it was a lot of fun. Something I would definitely be willing to do again. Which when I started figuring things out, I will probably not have to do another party for another 2.5 years. Yep, for those that are confused, it all works out in my head.
